(4) Transmission downshift switch.Submode 24 is used in order to select the shift control input that is used in the power train ECM. This selection is controlled by the configuration of the machine. If the machine is equipped with transmission direction and speed control lever (1), SF0 must be selected. If the machine is equipped with transmission direction control switch (2), transmission upshift switch (3), and transmission downshift switch (4), SF1 must be selected. The procedure to select the shift control input of the machine follows:
Use the 4C-8195 Control Service Tool to enter Transmission Calibration Mode (8) via the "MODE" switch. Then enter submode 24 by using the "SCROLL" switch.
The display will show the current shift control input that is selected. SF0 is used with a machine that is equipped with transmission direction and speed control lever (1). SF1 is used with a machine that is equipped with transmission direction control switch (2). Use the INCREMENT (+) position of the "CLEAR" switch in order to change the selection. Press and release the switch in order to select SF0 (transmission direction and speed control lever) or SF1 (transmission direction control switch).
To exit submode 24, scroll to the next submode by using the "SCROLL" switch or exit the Transmission Calibration Mode by using the "MODE" switch.
