All 3306 Engines Equipped With AftercoolersDescription of Change: A new gasket is now used in the aftercooler group (water) on the above engines. The new gasket is used between the inlet and outlet adapters and the aftercooler housing. The new gasket will make a better seal at these junctions. The former gasket had notches in it to give clearance for the bolts. It has been found that air leakage was possible at these notches, in some applications. The result of this air leakage was lower manifold pressures.
Adaptable As: The new 2W3679 Gasket is a direct replacement for the former 9L5904 Gasket, which is canceled.
