Information:
Hammer Valve (If Equipped) / Multi Combined Valve (If Equipped)
The thumb wheel control on the right joystick is suspended with the function of the hammer valve, or the multi combined valve, when the following functions are disabled:
Joystick Steering (if equipped)
Offset Boom (if equipped)Hammer Valve - To pressurize Port A, move the thumb wheel on the right joystick to the left or the right side.Multi Combined Valve - To pressurize Port A, move the thumb wheel on the right joystick to the left. To pressurize Port B, move the thumb wheel on the right joystick to the right.Joystick Steering (If Equipped)
Note: If any additional function is activated, the thumb wheel on the right joystick is suspended with the joystick steering function (priority function of joystick steering).
Illustration 8 g02383400Use the joystick steering switch in order to activate the joystick steering function. For further information on activating the joystick steering function, refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Operator Controls".Note: When the cab is positioned over the fixed rear axle, the function of the joystick steering is reversed. The function of the travel speed pedal is also reversed.
Left Turn - Move the thumb wheel to the left on the right joystick in order to steer the machine to the left. The turning angle increases as the result of a greater amount of force applied to the left side of the thumb wheel.
Right Turn - Move the thumb wheel to the right on the right joystick in order to steer the machine to the right. The turning angle increases as the result of a greater amount of force applied to the right side of the thumb wheel.Note: If the second gear is active, the system will not allow the operator to activate the Joystick Steering. The monitor will display a warning that the joystick steering is not active. If the joystick steering is active, the system will not allow the operator to engage into second gear. Offset Boom (If Equipped)
Note: Disable the Joystick Steering control before you enable the offset boom function.

Left Offset - Move the thumb wheel on the right joystick to the left in order to swing the offset boom to the left.
Right Offset - Move the thumb wheel on the right joystick to the right in order to swing the offset boom to the right.Heavy Lift Mode (17)
Heavy Lift Mode (17) - Press the lower right switch on the back of the right joystick in order to activate heavy lift function.Note: Once the heavy lift function is activated, the heavy lift function will only be available for 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, the lifting capabilities will return to normal working conditions. This work mode increases the relief pressure in the hydraulic circuit, which increases the hydraulic force that is available for lifting operations. The cylinder speed is slower when this mode is selected.Note: During
