Adapting Earlier Articulated Trucks:
Illustration 1.
Modification for the D25D, D30D, D300D, D350D and D400D Articulated Trucks.1. Remove the 100-5571 Switch from the Actuator and replace with plug (3). Use 9S-3263 Compound as a sealant when installing the plug.2. Disconnect the lines into the actuator. Install the new connector (8) with an O-ring (13), tee (2) with an O-ring (13), an adapter (9) (Note: Item 9 is not used with a D350E or D400E Articulated Trucks), and a pressure switch (1) with an O-ring (14) as shown in the appropriate illustration.3. Cut wires as shown in the illustration from the differential lock switch as close as possible to the terminals. Install socket (10), pin (11) and plug (12) as shown, and plug housing (4).4. Secure to gear group with clip (5), bolt (6) and washer (7) as shown in the appropriate illustration.
