Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Install Tool (B). Attach a chain and a suitable lifting device to the auxiliary drive. Install the drive shaft (6).
Remove the bolts (5) that hold the shaft (6) in position. Tighten the bolts in a diagonal pattern to a torque of 1300 150 N m (960 110 lb ft).

Pass a nylon strap through the vibration damper (4). Fasten a suitable lifting device to the nylon strap.
Install Tool (A). Align the dash marks on the vibration damper (4) and the shaft (6). Install the vibration damper (4) on Tool (A).
Install the bolts (3) that hold the vibration damper to the shaft hand tight.
Remove Tool (A). Install the remaining two bolts (3). Tighten all of the bolts (3) in a diagonal pattern to a torque of 1150 150 N m (850 110 lb ft).
Install the plate (2) on the shaft. Install the five bolts (1). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 1250 50 N m (920 35 lb ft).
