Cat ET will communicate with the Electronic Control Module (ECM) through a communication data link. Cat ET is used to diagnose existing and potential problems, configure the product, and obtain data for analysis. Refer to Media, JERD2129.VIMSpc - Use VIMSpc 2013A or later. VIMSpc is a software tool that is used to analyze data downloaded from a machine. VIMSpc can generate historical reports of machine operating conditions. These reports can be used to monitor trends in the work environment and machine operation. The operating conditions represent the work environment and the parameters of the machine in the work environment. VIMSpc does not need to connect to the machine . Refer to Media, FERV0066.VIMS Supervisor - VIMS Supervisor software provides custom fleet production and maintenance reports by extracting data from the VIMSpc database. The software provides the functionality to filter and sort Event, Payload, Trend, and Histogram data. The filtered data can be used to create reports that target the needs of the user.
