Possible injury can result when removing the retaining ring and spring.Spring force will be released when the retaining ring is removed.Be prepared to hold the cylinder assembly as the retaining ring is removed.
Remove retainer (48) from flow control valve (49).
Use a suitable press and apply pressure to plate (50).
Use Tooling (C) to remove retaining ring (51) from control valve (49).

Remove two spacers (52) from control valve (49).

Remove nut (53) from shaft (54). Remove cap (55).

Remove retainer (56) and O-ring seal (57) from the shaft.
Use a suitable press and apply pressure to the plate. Use Tooling (D) to remove retaining ring (58). Remove spacers (59).

Remove the following items from the flow control valve: shaft (54), plate (60), spring (61), spring (62) and plate (63).

Remove the following items from the control valve: plate (64), spring (65), spring (66) and plate (67).

Remove O-ring seal (68) from cap (55).

Remove bolts (69) and cover (70).

Use Tooling (A) to remove retaining ring (71) from the housing.
Use Tooling (E) to remove seal (72) from the housing.
