CRS heads are being returned at a 30% Failure Not Repeated rate and are passing bench testing upon receipt back to Caterpillar.Solution
Caterpillar is requiring dealers to document the Troubleshooting steps which determined the CRS head that has failed by filling out a "Diagnostics in a Box" form. Special Instruction, M0075976 is the form required to get credit for a CRS head return and is available by download through SIS web. Dealers can access the form by utilizing the "Media Search" tab in SIS web and then entering the media number.
