When the transmission is cold, operate the engine at low idle for approximately two minutes.Cycle all controls in order to allow warm oil to circulate through all hydraulic cylinders and through all hydraulic lines. This will help to warm up the hydraulic components.While you idle the engine for warm-up, observe the following recommendations:
If the temperature is greater than 0° C (32° F), warm up the transmission for approximately 2 minutes.
If the temperature is less than 0° C (32° F), warm up the transmission for approximately 10 minutes.
If the temperature is less than − 18°C (0°F) or if hydraulic functions are sluggish, additional time may be required.
Check the transmission oil level. Maintain the oil level to the "FULL" mark.
