(1) Hydraulic Oil Tank (2) Counterweight Drive Pump (3) Counterweight Cylinders (4) Counterweight Control Valve (5) Hydraulic Oil Cooler (6) Oil Cooler Bypass ValveThe main components of the counterweight hydraulic system are Counterweight Control Valve (4) and Counterweight Drive Pump (2) .Counterweight drive pump (2) is a fixed displacement gear pump. Counterweight drive pump (2) sends oil through Counterweight Control Valve (4) in order to provide flow to the counterweight cylinders (3). When the counterweight control lever is activated, flow is diverted from the hydraulic oil cooler (5) and/or the oil cooler bypass valve (6). Normal system flow resumes when the counterweight control lever is released.
