Lubricate all of the O-ring seals with the lubricant that is being sealed.
Install O-rings (9) and (10) onto spool (5) .

Install spool (5) into the actuator housing. Tighten spool (5) to a torque of 50 5 N m (37 4 lb ft).
Install solenoid (6), washer (7), and nut (8) .
Tighten nut (8) to a torque of 20 2.5 N m (177 22 lb in).

Fill the cavity (B) of the valve housing to the halfway mark with Tooling (B).

Position actuator assembly (3) on valve housing (4). Install bolts (2) .
Install temperature sensor (1). Apply Tooling (A) to the threads on temperature sensor (1). Tighten temperature sensor (1) to a torque of 45 5 N m (33 4 lb ft).End By: Install the exhaust gas valve.
