Remove six bolts (38) with six washers (37) in order to remove cover (35) and gasket (36) .

Remove two bolts (39) with washers (40) in order to remove bracket (41). Disconnect electrical connectors (P) .

Position a gear tooth directly in the center of the opening for speed sensor (42) .
Loosen locknut (R). Turn speed sensor (42) clockwise until the end of speed sensor (42) contacts the gear tooth.
Turn speed sensor (42) counterclockwise by 1/2 turn (180 degrees).Note: Do not allow speed sensor (42) to turn when locknut (R) is tightened.
Use wrench flats (T) in order to keep speed sensor (42) from turning. Tighten locknut (R) to a torque of 25 5 N m (18 4 lb ft).
If necessary, repeat Step 3 through Step 6 for each speed sensor.
Install bracket (41). Install two bolts (39) with washers (40) .
Connect electrical connectors (P) in the original positions. If necessary, refer to Table 1.

Install gasket (36) and install cover (35). Install six washers (37) with six bolts (38). Tighten bolts (37) to a torque of 47 9 N m (35 7 lb ft).
