Position the machine on level ground and stop the engine.
Release the pressure in the hydraulic system. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Hydraulic System Pressure - Release" for the machine.

Install a pressure gauge with a 4000 kPa (580 psi) capacity on pressure tap (9) for the power shift. Install a pressure gauge with a 40000 kPa (5800 psi) capacity on pressure tap (12) for the drive pump.
Start the engine.
Set the pilot pressure to the specifications in Testing and Adjusting, "Relief Valve (Pilot) - Test and Adjust" for the machine.
Warm the hydraulic oil to 50 °C (122 °F).
Set the main relief valve to specifications. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Relief Valve (Main) - Test and Adjust" for the machine.
Calibrate the power shift pressure. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Proportional Reducing Valve - Calibrate - Power Shift" for the Engine and Pump Control System.
Calibrate the extension solenoid valve for auxiliary stem 1. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "System 17: Solenoid Valve (Proportional Reducing) - Calibrate (Attachment Control Valve)" for the Tool Control System.
Perform the calibration for the proportional solenoid valve for negative flow control. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "System 17: Solenoid Valve (Proportional Reducing) - Calibrate (Negative Flow Control)" for the Tool Control System.
Perform the calibration for number one relief valve and number two relief valve. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "System 17: Relief Valve (Line) - Test and Adjust (Number 1 Relief Valve and Number 2 Relief Valve)" for the Tool Control System.
Turn the adjustment screw on the main relief valve for one half turn clockwise to 39000 kPa in order to ensure that the setting is above the setting for the line relief valve.
Set the auxiliary tool mode to "TOOL #4". Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Work Tool - Select" for the Tool Control System.
Enter the service mode. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Service Mode - Enter" for the Tool Control System.

Use left key (3) or right key (4) in order to adjust the power shift pressure to 2900 kPa (421 psi). The value on line 4 is an approximation of the pressure.
