Assembly Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, thoroughly clean all parts in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Do not use wiping cloths or rags to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. Dirt and other contaminants can damage the precision component. Perform assembly procedures on a clean work surface. Keep components covered and protected at all times.

Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury.To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment.
Note: The spring warning is for Steps 10, 11, 17, 22, and 27.Note: Check the O-ring seals for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary.
Install O-ring seal (34), O-ring seals (29), and O-ring seals (28). Position valve block (16).
Install O-ring seal (18), O-ring seals (14), and O-ring seals (13). Position valve block (2).
Install the washers and bolts (1). Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 34 3 N m (25 2 lb ft).
Install pilot (54) and shuttle orifice (61). Install valve screw (62). Tighten valve screw (62) to a torque of 16 2 N m (11 1 lb ft).
Install O-ring seal (56) and plug (55). Tighten plug (55) to a torque of 100 10 N m (74 7 lb ft). Install O-ring seal (51) and plug (50). Tighten plug (50) to a torque of 100 10 N m (74 7 lb ft).
Install relief valve (53). Tighten relief valve (53) to a torque of 20 2 N m (15 1 lb ft).
Install plug (52). Tighten plug (52) to a torque of 90 9 N m (66 7 lb ft).
Install O-ring seals (39).
Install plug (35). Tighten plug (35) to a torque of 60 6 N m (44 4 lb ft).
Install retainer (67), spring (66), and O-ring seal (65). Position valve block (64). Install bolts (63). Tighten bolts (63) to a torque of 6 1 N m (53 9 lb in).
Install retainer (60), spring (59), and O-ring seal (58). Position valve block (49). Install bolts (57). Tighten bolts (57) to a torque of 6 1 N m (53 9 lb in).
Install check valves (26). Tighten check valves (26) to a torque of 60 6 N m (44 4 lb ft).
Install O-ring seal (47), and plug (46). Tighten plug (46) to a torque of 100 10 N m (74 7 lb ft).
Install valve (40). Tighten valve (40) to a torque of 20 2 N m (15 1 lb ft).
Install plug (41). Tighten plug (41) to a torque of 90 9 N m (66 7 lb ft).
Install O-ring seals (30). Install retainers (36) and (31). Install springs (37) and (32). Install O-ring seals (38) and (33).
