Raise the engine hood.
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

Remove belt (2). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belts - Inspect / Adjust / Replace".
Remove shield assembly (1) .
Disconnect cable assemblies (3) .
Disconnect wire (4) .

Remove bolt (5), bolt (7), and alternator (6) .Installation Procedure

Position alternator (6) and install bolts (5) and (7) .

Connect wire (4) .
Connect cable assemblies (3) .
Install shield assembly (1) .
Install belt (2). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belts - Inspect / Adjust / Replace".
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the ON position.
Close the engine hood.

Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

Disconnect wire (4) .
