Use Tooling (A) in order to remove retaining ring (20) . Remove shaft seal (21) .

Use a suitable press in order to remove bearing cone (25) from shaft assembly (23) .

Remove barrel assembly (24) from pistons (26) .

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Use a suitable press to compress spring (30) .
Remove retaining ring (27) from barrel assembly (24) .
Remove washers (28) , spring (30) , and inner and outer bushings (29) from barrel assembly (23) .

Remove bolts (31) from plate (32) .Note: Bolts (31) have Loctite 648 applied to threads and will require heat to remove.

Remove plate (32) and shims (33) .Note: Keep the shims with the plate.
