Improper blocking of the rear axle housing can cause personal injury.The rear axle housing is made to oscillate. During removal and installation of the rear tires and rims, the rear axle housing must be prevented from oscillating.Place wood blocks between the rear axle housing and the rear main frame to prevent oscillation of the rear axle housing.
Place a suitable block (2) between axle housing (3) and rear main frame (1) on both sides of the machine. Note: This will prevent the rear axle housing from oscillating.

Remove bolts (4). Remove bolts (5). Use two people in order to remove panel assembly and handrail (6). The weight of panel assembly and handrail (6) is approximately 27 kg (60 lb).

Position Tooling (A) under the rear frame.
Use Tooling (A) in order to raise the rear of the machine until the tires are off the ground.

Attach a suitable lifting device onto tire and rim assembly (7).
Remove nuts (8) from the rim.
Use the suitable lifting device in order to remove tire and rim assembly (7). The weight of tire and rim assembly (7) is approximately 3175 kg (7000 lb). Installation Procedure

Attach a suitable lifting device onto tire and rim assembly (7).
Use the suitable lifting device in order to install tire and rim assembly (7). The weight of tire and rim assembly (7) is approximately 3175 kg (7000 lb).
Install nuts (8). Tighten nuts (8) to a torque of 900 100 N m (660 75 lb ft).

Use Tooling (A) in order to lower the machine to the ground.
Remove Tooling (A).
