Information:
1. Lift front of machine so wheels do not make contact with the ground. Put tooling (A) under the machine. 2. Remove hub cap (1) from the wheel.3. Fasten a hoist to the wheel. 4. Remove cotter pin, nut and washer. Remove outer bearing cone (2).5. Remove the front wheel and tire. Weight of the wheel and tire is approximately 550 lb. (248 kg). 6. Remove inner bearing cone (4) and seal (3).7. Remove the two bearing cups (5) and sleeve from the wheel.Install Front Wheel And Bearings
1. Install the two bearing cups (1) and sleeve in the wheel.2. Install the seal and inner bearing cone on the steering knuckle. Seal lip must be away from the cone.3. Put a small amount of lubricant on the sleeve and seal. Fill the bearing cones and the space between bearing cups with the correct lubricant. 4. Fasten a hoist to the front wheel and tire. Put the front wheel and tire in position on the steering knuckle. 5. Install the bearing outer cone for the wheel. Install washer and nut (2).6. Make the adjustment of the wheel bearings in the following way: a) Turn the wheel and tighten nut (2) until the wheel will not turn by hand.b) Loosen nut (2) a maximum of 1/6 (60°) of a turn.c) Make sure the wheel will turn freely.d) Install cotter pin (3).
