When the On-grade Tolerance option is highlighted, press the OK key (10). The "On-grade Tolerance" dialog appears.
Use the one of the following methods in order to set the on-grade tolerance:
Use the arrow keys (9) in order to directly edit the "On-Grade Tolerance" field.
Press "Half Set <value>" in order to reduce the on-grade tolerance to fifty percent of the current value.
Press "Double Set <value>" in order to increase the on-grade tolerance to twice the current value.
Press "Default Set <value>" in order to set the on-grade tolerance to the default value.
Perform one of the following actions:
Press the OK key (10) in order to confirm the settings. The on-grade tolerance will be updated immediately.
Press the Escape key (5) in order to exit without changing the on-grade tolerance.Calibrate Drum Slope Sensor
In order to maintain the accuracy of the system, the drum slope sensor must be calibrated regularly. The following are the two methods that can be used in order to calibrate the drum slope sensor. Drum slope sensor (turn around) - used to accurately calibrate the drum slope sensorDrum slope sensor - used to quickly calibrate the drum slope sensor until the turn around method can be performedNote: Although this second method can be performed quickly, it is not a recommended method. This method can lead to errors if the drum yoke's cross- tube and the drum are at different angles to the ground.Prior to calibrating the drum slope sensor, check the following items:
Ensure that the compactor is located in a suitable location for the calibration. The location must be a hard, flat surface and there must be enough room to turn the machine around.
Verify that the tire pressure in all of the tires is correct.In order to select a drum slope sensor calibration method, perform the following steps:
From any guidance screen, press the Menu key (8) .
Using the arrow keys (9), scroll to the "Calibrate Sensor" option.

When the Calibrate Sensor option is highlighted, press the OK key (10). The "Calibrate Sensor" dialog appears listing the available calibration options for the drum slope sensor.
Scroll to one of the listed calibration methods and perform the calibration. Method 1 - Turning the Compactor
This method is the most accurate method for calibrating the drum slope sensor. In order to perform this calibration, perform the following steps:
From the Calibrate Sensor dialog, scroll to the "Drum slope sensor (turn around)" option.
When the "Drum slope sensor (turn around)" option is highlighted, press the OK key (10). The "Welcome" screen of the "Sensor Calibration" wizard appears.
Following the instructions in the wizard, mark the drum position.
