OFF (1) - No power to all electrical circuits. Turn the key to this position to stop the engine. ON (2) - All circuits on the operator's platform are operational. START (3) - Starts the engine, key returns to the ON position when released.Gauges
Vibration Meter - Indicates the number of vibrations per minute of the front drum. Feet Per Minute Gauge (if equipped) - Indicates the travel speed of the machine in feet per minute. 1 meter per minute is approximately equal to 3 feet per minute.Service Hour Meter
Service Hour Meter - Indicates the total operating hours of the engine. It should be used to determine service intervals.Indicators
Alternator - Indicates the alternator is malfunctioning. If this indicator comes on, pull to a convenient stop. Investigate the cause (loose or broken belt, etc.).Do not operate the machine until the cause has been corrected.Function Indicators
Water Spray System (1) - Indicates the water spray system is on. Light System (if equipped) (2) - Indicates the light system is on. Vibration Indicator (3) - Indicates the front and rear vibrators of the compactor are working. Direction Indicator (4) - Indicates the direction lights are working.Warning Indicators
If the engine coolant temperature (2), hydraulic oil temperature (3) or engine oil pressure (4) indicator comes on, the horn will sound to alert the operator to take corrective action. Hydraulic Filter (1) - Indicates the clogging of the hydraulic filter. If the light comes on, pull to a convenient stop and change the hydraulic filter. Do not use the machine until the filter has been changed. Engine Coolant Temperature (2) - Indicates excessive coolant temperature. If the indicator comes on, pull the machine to a convenient stop. Investigate the cause. Do not operate the machine until the cause has been corrected. Hydraulic Oil Temperature (3) - Indicates high oil temperature. If the indicator comes on, pull to a convenient stop. Allow the engine to idle. If the indicator stays on, stop the engine and investigate the cause. Do not operate the machine until the cause has been corrected. Engine Oil Pressure (4) - Indicates low oil pressure. If the indicator comes on, stop the machine immediately. Stop the engine. Investigate the cause. Do not operate the machine until the cause has been corrected.Light Switch (if equipped)
Working Lights - Rotate the switch to the desired position to activate the working lights.Horn
Horn - Push the knob down to sound the horn. Use the horn to alert or to signal personnel.Windshield Wiper/Washer
