Removal Procedure
Park the machine on level ground. Place blocks in front of the rear wheel and behind the rear wheels.

Turn grip (1) in a counterclockwise direction in order to fully release the tension on the parking brake cable. Remove bolts (2) and slide cover (3) off the hand control. Disconnect harness assembly (4). Remove cover (3) .

Remove screws (5). Position limit switch (6) to the side.

Remove nuts (9), bolts (7), and spacers (8) in order to remove hand control (10) from mounting bracket (11) .

Remove cotter pin (14), pin (13), and washers (15) in order to disconnect brake cable (12) from hand control (10). Compress the fingers on spring clip (16) and disconnect brake cable (12) .Installation Procedure

Install brake cable (12) into hand control (10). Install spring clip (16) .

Align the holes in hand control (10) with the holes in brake cable (12) and install pin (13), washers (15), and cotter pin (14) .

Position hand control (10) onto mounting bracket (11) and install bolts (7), spacers (8), nuts (9), and the washers.

Position limit switch (6) and install screws (5) .

Connect harness assembly (4) before sliding cover (3) over the hand control. Install bolts (2). Rotate grip (1) in a clockwise direction in order to adjust the tension on the parking brake cable. Refer to Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, "Parking Brake Control - Check and Adjust".
