The backup alarm is located at the rear of the machine.
Turn the battery disconnect switch clockwise in order to turn the electrical system ON (not shown).

Turn the engine start switch to the ON position in order to perform the test.

Apply the parking brake (1). Move the propel control lever (2) to the REVERSE position.Note: The backup alarm should start to sound immediately.
The backup alarm will continue to sound until the propel control lever is moved to the NEUTRAL position or to the FORWARD position.

The sound level can be adjusted by moving the adjustment on the back of the alarm in order to meet operating requirements.The alarm is set at the highest sound level when the alarm is shipped from the factory. The setting should remain on high, unless the job site requires a lower level.
