A 1U-9200 Lever Puller Hoist 1 Start By:
Install the front wheel chocks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel Chock (Front and Rear) - Remove and Install".
Connect the frame lock link. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
Remove the rear tires. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Tire and Rim - Remove and Install".

Use a suitable rope or wire to secure yoke assembly (3) to the front trunnion of the rear axle assembly. Attach Tooling (A) to rear drive shaft (1). Attach the other end of Tooling (A) to the input drive shaft that is located above rear drive shaft (1). Tooling (A) will be used to support rear drive shaft (1).
Remove bolts (2). Disconnect rear drive shaft (1) from yoke assembly (3). Use Tooling (A) to position the end of rear drive shaft (1) away from the rear axle.

Disconnect grease hose assemblies (4) and (5) from the top of the front trunnion.

Disconnect grease hose assemblies (6) and (7) from the top of the rear trunnion.

Disconnect hose assemblies (8), (9), (10), and (11).

Attach a suitable lifting device to rear axle assembly (12). The weight of rear axle assembly (12) is approximately 20,411 kg (45,000 lb). The suitable lifting device should be fastened around the housing for the service brake, as shown. This will prevent rear axle assembly (12) from rotating when rear axle assembly (12) is lowered.

Remove bolts (13) that secure the rear trunnion to the frame of the machine.

Remove bolts (14) that secure the front trunnion to the frame of the machine.

Lower rear axle (12) onto suitable dollies or skid pans. Pull rear axle (12) out from under the machine.
