Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Install a suitable lifting device and Tooling (A) to axle housing (3). The approximate weight of the axle housing is 295 kg (650 lb). Install the axle housing. Install bolts (4). The bolts must be torqued properly. For the proper torque, refer to Specification, "Final Drive and Wheel" for the Scraper Power Train.Note: As required, adjust Tool (B) in order to align the differential and bevel gear.

Install ten upper nuts (2) for the differential and bevel gear. Remove Tool (B) .

Install eight lower nuts (1) to the differential and bevel gear.

Install a suitable lifting device to the right fender. Install the fender. The approximate weight of the fender is 105 kg (225 lb).End By: Install the right service brakes. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Service Brakes - Install".Installation Procedure (Left Side)

The bolts must be torqued properly. For the proper torque, refer to Specification, "Final Drive and Wheel" for the Scraper Power Train.

Slide the retainer toward the left axle housing. Connect the retainer (2). Connect the hose assembly (1) .

Install a suitable lifting device to the left fender. Install the fender. The approximate weight of the fender is 105 kg (225 lb).End By: Install the left service brakes. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Service Brakes - Install".
