2. Disconnect hose assembly (1) and move hose assembly (2) with elbows out of the way.3. Disconnect seventeen hose assemblies and tube assembly (3). Tank shown removed for clarity.4. Remove plate (4). Remove the cotter pin and pin holding cable (6) to the hoist control lever.5. Remove the nut holding cable (6) in box (5). Remove cable (6) from box (5). 6. Remove bolt (7). 7. Disconnect the two hose assemblies from converter filter (8). (Some oil loss from the filter will occur).8. Remove bolt (9) and install tooling (A). 9. Disconnect hose assemblies (10), (11), and (12). 10. Disconnect hose assembly (14). Make sure all hose assemblies and tube assemblies have been disconnected before removing the hydraulic tank.11. Fasten a hoist to the hydraulic tank.12. Remove caps (13) and (15). Remove the hydraulic tank. The weight of the hydraulic tank is approx. 546 kg (1200 lb.). The following step are for installation of the hydraulic tank.13. Install tooling (A), fasten a hoist to the hydraulic tank, and put the hydraulic tank in position on the truck.14. Install caps (13) and (15). Remove the hoist and tooling (A) from the hydraulic tank.15. Connect hose assembly (14).16. Connect hose assemblies (10), (11), and (12).17. Connect the two hose assemblies to converter filter (8).18. Install bolt (7).19. Install cable (6) to box (5).20. Connect cable (6) to the hoist control lever using the pin and cotter pin. See 789 Truck Hydraulic System (SENR3438) for oil line identification.21. Connect seventeen hose assemblies and tube assembly (3).22. Put hose assembly (2) with elbows in position and connect hose assembly (1).23. Make sure all of the hose assemblies have been connected to the hydraulic tank.24. Fill the hydraulic and transmission tank to the correct level. See the Maintenance Guide.
