Use a suitable press in order to install cam (26) into link assembly (19). Repeat this step for the remaining link assembly.

Failure to put the link assembly under tension may significantly shorten the service life of the rear frame assembly.
Use a suitable lifting device in order to position link assembly (19). The weight of link assembly (19) is approximately 122 kg (269 lb). Install pin (21) and install bolt (20) .
Install pin (23) and install bolt (22). Install plate (25). Use a suitable drift in order to turn the cam that is on link assembly (19). The mark that is on the cam must turn toward the rear of the machine. Turn the cam until there is tension on link assembly (19). Install bolts (24) .

Use Tooling (J) in order to install bearing (16). Repeat this step for the remaining bearings.

Use a suitable lifting device in order to position lower frame (13). The weight of lower frame (13) is approximately 463 kg (1021 lb).
Install pin (15). Install bolt (14). Repeat this step for the remaining pin.

Connect hose assemblies (12) .

Use Tooling (E), Tooling (F), and a suitable lifting device in order to position ripper carriage (11). The weight of ripper carriage (11) is approximately 1370 kg (3020 lb).
Install pin (13). Install bolt (12). Repeat this step for the opposite side.

Install clips (9) and clips (8) .

Use Tooling (H) in order to install bearing (8). Repeat this step for the opposite end of the link. Repeat this step for the remaining link.
Install lip seals (7) onto link assembly (2). Repeat this step for the opposite end of the link. Repeat this step of the remaining link.

Use a suitable lifting device in order to position link assembly (2). The weight of link assembly (2) is approximately 41 kg (90 lb). Install pin (6) and bolt (5). Install bolt (4) and bolt (3). Repeat this step for the remaining link assembly.

Use a suitable lifting device in order to raise ripper (1). Remove Tooling (A). Remove Tooling (B). The weight of ripper (1) is approximately 1915 kg (4221 lb).End By:

Install the ripper lift cylinder. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Ripper Lift Cylinder - Remove and Install".
