Information:
For new installations and engines that are recently rebuilt, carefully monitor the engine in order to detect any unusual engine performance.After all systems are stabilized and normal, the engine rpm can be increased from low idle rpm to rated rpm.It may be necessary to apply some load in order to attain normal operating temperatures.Engaging the Driven Equipment
Increase the engine speed to rated rpm.
Ensure that the operating parameters are in the normal ranges for the engine load.
Close the main circuit breaker in order to apply the load.
Refer to Special Instruction, REHS1438, "Installation and Initial Start-Up Procedure for G3500C and G3500E Engines" in order to properly load the engine.
Increase the engine speed to rated rpm.
Ensure that the operating parameters are in the normal ranges for the engine load.
Close the main circuit breaker in order to apply the load.
Refer to Special Instruction, REHS1438, "Installation and Initial Start-Up Procedure for G3500C and G3500E Engines" in order to properly load the engine.
