Glow plugs are used if the ether is not used or ether is configured as "Not installed" in electronic technician. The operating time of the glow plugs is determined by the inlet manifold temperature and coolant temperature according to the above table.The indicator for the starting aids on the instrument panel will be illuminated when the glow plugs or the ether solenoid are active. The indicator for the starting aids must be extinguished before you turn the key in order to start the engine. The self-diagnostics or the gauge check of the instrument panel is initiated for approximately 5 seconds during start-up.
