The monitoring system is an electronic monitoring system that continually monitors the machine systems. The monitoring system includes gauge display (2), speedometer/tachometer display (3), and monitoring system display (4). The monitoring system display has alert indicators which show any abnormal condition of the machine.
Primary Steering (5) - The alert indicator (5) and the action light (1) will flash and the action alarm will sound. This indicates a failure of the primary steering. The secondary steering (if equipped) should be automatically activated. If this alert indicator flashes during operation, stop the machine immediately and engage the parking brake. Stop the engine and investigate the cause of the fault.
The immediate shutdown of the machine is required in order to prevent severe damage to the system and/or the machine. Do not operate the machine until the cause has been corrected.
Note: Secondary steering only works while the machine is moving. No directional changes can be made when the machine operates under secondary steering.
