3512 (1LM00184-Up) Industrial Engines for Oil Well Fracturing ApplicationsDescription of Change: A new breather group is used in the above engines. The new breather group will increase the breather capacity of the engine. The increased breather capacity will match other high speed 12 cylinder engines.
Adaptable To: The new 144-2890 Breather Group is a direct replacement for the 4W-1449 Breather Group. The new breather group includes an additional breather. An additional fumes disposal tube is required for the additional breather. The new breather group is installed on cylinder numbers four, six, and eight.
Illustration 1 shows the former 4W-1449 Breather Group. Illustration 2 shows the new 144-2890 Breather Group. Illustration 3 and the chart that follows Illustration 3 identifies the parts that are needed for converting the former 4W-1449 Breather Group to the new 144-2890 Breather Group.
