Description of Change: A new retaining plate and new bolts are now available for the engines that are listed above. When you replace the bushing on the engine idler gear there is a new thicker retaining plate and longer bolts that are now used.Adaptable To: Use the same bushing 067-6899 Idler Gear Bushing when you replace the bushing on the engine idler gear because of wear. Do not use 067-6900 Retaining Plate when you replace the bushing on the engine idler gear. Use the new plate 255-1209 Retaining Plate and use the new bolts 6I-0650 Bolt when you replace the bushing on the engine idler gear. The new bolts 6I-0650 Bolt are needed because of the new thicker retaining plate 255-1209 Retaining Plate. If necessary, replace 067-6897 Idler Gear Hub if you notice excessive wear on the hub.
