When the oil flows through tube (6) toward the top of the screen, the oil passes through the openings between magnets (5). The magnets are installed on the tube with the same poles next to each other. As the oil flows over the magnets, metal particles in the oil are stopped and held by the magnets. The magnets prevent wear from iron particles in the hydraulic oil.The oil flows through screen (8) and outlet passage (9). The screen prevents wear from other foreign particles in the hydraulic oil.The oil flows from outlet passage (9) to the inlet port of the oil pump.
