Download and Store the ECM History File

Connect to the DCU following the instructions from LEBM0063 starting on page 9.
Click "Version" on the left side.

Verify that the DCU is 3.5 P2 or newer.Loading New Firmware to DCU

Download the 541-0882 Monitor Software Gp (3.6) or latest firmware from SIS web.

Navigate to "DCU" to "File" to "Upload to DCU".

Click "Firmware" on the left side.
Select the firmware that was saved to the PC from SIS web.

Make sure that the Accumulative Counters (SPN’s 6817, 8327, and 6818) are configured for use on the DCU/RP.
Navigate to "DCU" to "I/O Configuration" to "J1939/J1939#2" and search for the Accumulative Counters.

Set the "Channel Use" to "DCU + RP" if it is not already.
Click the "Submit" button.
Repeat the previous steps for remaining SPN’s for both J1939#1 and J1939#2.

Click "User Interface".

Click "Pages"
Click "Insert Page".

Using template 24, add the Accumulative Counters to Page shown in Illustration 11.
Click "Submit".
