The serial number on the bottom of the flow limiter is the best way to determine if a flow limiter was manufactured before or after the improvement. Flow limiters manufactured on or after the 32nd week of 2012, received the improved process.Reference the serial number on the bottom of the flow limiter to identify the manufacturing date. The four digits prior to the hyphen signify the year and week. The flow limiter in Illustration 1 was manufactured on the 14th week of 2009 (F31409-787).This change is effective for the serial numbers listed in Table 1.
