The supply oil from main pump (28) flows through lower hydraulic shutoff valve (27) and hydraulic swivel (35) to center section of lower main control valve (25). Oil will flow from both travel valve section spools (23) and (24) to travel motor (16). The pump delivery flow causes rotation of the travel motor. The torque of the travel motors is transmitted to transmission (7). The rotational speed of the travel motor is manipulated by the transmission and also reduced by gear reduction in the axle wheel drive. The axle wheel drive increases the torque and the rotational force drives the wheels.

Right joystick control
(A) Travel rate decrease
(B) Travel rate increaseThe travel speed can be adjusted by the slight operation of the travel control pedal. The travel speed range can be controlled by the travel rate decrease button (A) and travel rate increase button (B). The travel rate buttons send signals to the master control module. The master control module sets travel motor displacement, transmission gear, available travel valve current, and changes the travel mode indicator on the main display. The travel mode indicator displays the current travel mode Creeper or fast, and the percentage of full mode speed available. For more information regarding the Master Controller and Monitor, see Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU9201, "Monitoring System -IQAN Monitor".

(40) Steer axleThe operation mode control allows the operator to change the definition of the travel pedal controls, steering controls, and stabilizer controls.
Boom Over Steering mode defines the steering wheels as the front of the machine.
Counterweight Over Steering mode defines the steering wheels as the rear of the machine. With the operation mode control set to Boom Over Steering mode as shown in the illustration. Pressing the top of the travel control pedal will move the machine forward (37). Pressing the bottom of the travel control pedal will move the machine rearward (36).When cab is rotated by 180 degrees, oscillation axle (39) is positioned in front of cab (38). Pressing the bottom of the travel control pedal will move the machine in the direction the operator is facing.Note: For
