Description of Change: A new bearing is used in the hoist cylinder. The new bearing will provide increased service life.Adaptable To: The new 237-4156 Bearing is a direct replacement for the former 7J-1309 Bearing. The new bearing is effective with 773E (S/N: BDA520-UP) Off-Highway Truck and with 775E (S/N: BEC325-UP) Quarry Truck. The new bearing is adaptable to all earlier 773 Off-Highway Trucks and to all earlier 775 Quarry Trucks. Prior to installing the new bearing, measure the outer diameter of the bearing and the inner diameter of the bore. Compare the measurement in order to ensure that the interference fit is 0.003 to 0.063 mm (0.0001 to 0.0025 inch). Install the bearing so that the fracture in the race is perpendicular to the axis of the cylinder.
