If there has been a previous repair, part age/hours will apply. Retain a copy of the previous repair invoice in the dealer's records for audit purposes, and specify repair date and machine hours in the "Additional Comments" section of the warranty claim.

Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
Engine Air Cleaner Group Inspection Procedure:
1) Inspect air cleaner housing and filters. Inspect for excessive dirt or debris in secondary element. There should be no more than the normally expected dirt or debris.
If excessive dirt is found, perform the "Engine Air Cleaner Group Rework Procedure"
2) Inspect primary air filter for tear(s) and/or evidence of seal damage. Refer to Images1.1.1 and 1.1.2. If seal damage is present, perform the "Engine Air Cleaner Group Rework Procedure".

Engine Air Cleaner Rework Procedure:
1) Reference UENR012, Disassembly and Assembly, for the complete instructions for the Air Cleaner Group.
2) Remove existing air cleaner group and install new parts, inspect for proper fit.
3) Seal drain holes on new filter housing. Refer to REHS5349, Special Instruction,
"Procedure for Preparing the Air Cleaner Group for Installation on D6T Track-Type Tractors".
Note: Foam seal on the primary air filter is improved to reduce force required to install filter element during service.
Note: Image1.3.1 illustrates change made to the 335-1699 Bracket, the new change uses a hole instead of a slot.
