Install relief spool (6). Install O-ring seal (5) .

Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury.To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment.
Install spring (4). Install plate (3) onto Tooling (A). Install Tooling (A) into the relief valve and tighten the nuts.

Once plate (3) is seated, remove one part of Tooling (A) and install one bolt (2). Remove Tooling (A) and install the remaining bolt (2). Tighten bolts (2) to a torque of 47 9 N m (35 7 lb ft).

Install O-ring seal (1) .End By: Install the relief valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Relief Valve (Torque Converter Inlet) - Install".
