control board provides one spare fault input (connector contact 12). Optional factory devices or a device that is provided by the customer can be connected to the spare fault input. The response of the control board to a spare fault is selectable. The fault may be either an alarm fault or a shutdown fault. For a spare fault that is a shutdown fault, the inclusion of the fault protection timer is selectable. When there is a battery negative signal ("B-") at the spare fault input, the control board responds in the preselected manner. The following options are available: alarm versus shutdown and "FPT" versus no "FPT". On the front panel, the spare fault indicator is amber for an alarm fault or red for a shutdown fault. Locate "SW1" on the control board.
Place pole 1 of "SW1" in one of the following positions.
Position "SD" for shutdown
Position "WG" for alarmProcedure For Programming "FPT" Of The Spare Fault Input
Locate switch "SW3" on the control board.
Place pole 1 of "SW3" in one of the following positions.
Position "FPTIN" in order to include the "FPT".
Position "FPTOUT" in order to exclude the "FPT".
