Start By:a. remove track roller frames 1. Install tooling (A) on pivot shaft (1) as shown. Fasten a hoist to tooling (A).2. Fasten 6V2157 Link Bracket (3) [part of tooling (B)] to the end of the pivot shaft.3. Fasten one end of 8S9906 Ratchet Assembly (4) [part of tooling (B)] to link bracket (3) and the other end to a stationary object.4. Slide pivot shaft (1) from the machine. It will be necessary to fasten another hoist to the pivot shaft as it is removed to hold it in balance when it is removed. The weight of the pivot shaft is 337 Kg (742 lb.).5. Remove bearings (2) only if a replacement is needed.Install Pivot Shaft
1. Lower the temperature of bearings (2). Install bearings (2) in the frame until they make contact with the counterbore.2. Fasten a hoist and put pivot shaft (1) in position in the frame.3. Use tooling (C) to adjust the pivot shaft so that it extends from the main frame the same amount on each side.End By:a. install track roller frames
