To prevent possible personal injury, make sure all cushion hitch components are completely lowered, the pressure from the hydraulic system is released and the engine has been shut off for a minimum of five minutes to be sure that the accumulator oil pressure is zero. The accumulator is filled with dry nitrogen. Do not loosen or remove the valve in the cap on top of the accumulator. A bleed screw at the bottom of the accumulator can be used to release any pressure that remains in the system.
1. Remove the bolts and disconnect hoses (1), (3) and tube (4) from quick drop and check valve (2). 2. Fasten tool (A) and a hoist on quick drop and check valve (2).3. Remove two bolts (5) and quick drop and check valve (2) from the bowl lift cylinder. The weight of the quick drop and check valve is 29 kg (64 lb.).Install Quick Drop And Check Valve
1. Fasten tool (A) and a hoist on quick drop and check valve (1).2. Put quick drop and check valve (1) in position on the bowl lift cylinder and install the bolts that hold it. 3. Inspect the seals in the hoses and tube for wear or damage and make a replacement if necessary.4. Make sure the seals are in position on the hoses and the tube.5. START BY:a) remove quick drop and check valve 1. Remove bolts (2) and make a separation of quick drop valve (3) from check valve (1). 2. Remove seals (5) from the quick drop valve.3. Remove the bolt, retainer (4) and the ball from cover (6).4. Remove the seal from retainer (4).
Cover (6) is under spring force. To prevent possible personal injury, carefully remove cover (6) from the quick drop valve.
5. Remove the bolts, cover (6), spacer (10), spring (9), plunger (8) and valve (7) from quick drop valve (3).6. Remove seals (11) from cover (6). 7. Remove the bolts, cover (12) and stop (13) from quick drop valve (3).8. Remove seal (14) from cover (12). 9. Remove spring (16) and valve (15) from check valve (1). 10. Remove the bolts, retainer (21), balls (19) and plug (18) from the check valve.11. Remove seals (17) and (20) from plug (18) and retainer (21).
Flange (22) is under spring force. To prevent possible personal injury, carefully remove flange (22) from the check valve.
