Information:

1. Start the machine, and place the bucket on the ground. Stop the machine. 2. Remove clip (2) located at the front top side of the counterweight.3. Disconnect electrical connector (1). 4. Remove two plugs (3) from the top side of the counterweight. 5. Make sure the two threaded holes in the top of counterweight (4) are thoroughly clean. Install Tool (A) in the threaded holes of the counterweight. Fasten a hoist to Tool (A) as shown. Put slight lifting tension on counterweight (4). 6. Remove four bolts (5) and the washers that hold counterweight (4) to the main frame of the machine. Carefully remove the counterweight from the machine. The weight of the counterweight is 3100 kg (6835 lb). The following steps are for the installation of the counterweight.7. Make sure the mounting surfaces of the counterweight and the main frame are thoroughly clean.8. Install the counterweight in the reverse order of removal.
