Removal Procedure
In order to prevent possible personal injury, release the air pressure from the air tank before disconnecting any components of the air system.

Release the air pressure in the air tank.
Remove top (1) of the transmission selector lever.

Remove eight screws (2) .
Remove rear panel assembly (3) .

Remove two screws (4) from the parking brake control valve.
Reposition front panel assembly (5) in order to access the connections that are located on the underside of the front panel.

Disconnect hose assemblies (7) and (8) .
Remove parking brake control valve (6) .Installation Procedure
Note: Before installation, apply 5P-3413 Pipe Sealant to the external tapered threads.

Install parking brake control valve (6) .
Connect hose assemblies (7) and (8) .

Position front panel assembly (5) .
Install two screws (4) in the parking brake control valve.

Install rear panel assembly (3) .
Install eight screws (2) .Note: During installation, tighten screws (2) to a torque of 9 3 N m (6.6 2.2 lb ft).

Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Starting with an External Air Supply" in order to refill the air tank.
