These components must be free of the following substances: oil, fuel, water, gasket adhesive, assembly compounds and any other foreign material. Apply 8T-9022 Silicone Gasket in order to fill the space between the following components: the flywheel housing, the cylinder block and the engine oil pan. Apply 8T-9022 Silicone Gasket to the bottom of the joint of the flywheel housing prior to installation. (1) To tighten the flywheel housing bolts, use the procedure that follows:
