All 3500 Series Engines So EquippedDescription of Change: A new air start and override valve is now used in the air starting control groups on 3500 Series Engines. The new valve has a larger outside diameter in the area where it attaches to the mounting plate. This larger outside diameter will increase the strength of the valve and increase its service life. The new valve is used in both the air start and override applications. Also, because of the larger diameters new mounting plates must be used.
Formerly, separate valves were used for the different applications.
Adaptable As: The new parts, when used together, are direct replacements for the former parts. The new and former parts are shown in the chart.
