3. Remove the six bolts that hold plate (1) to the frame, and remove the plate.
To prevent possible personal injury, make sure the pressure in the air system is zero before any air lines are disconnected.
4. Disconnect air line (3) from the master cylinder and rotochamber.5. Disconnect oil lines (4), (5) and (6) from the master cylinder and rotochamber.6. Fasten a hoist to master cylinder and rotochamber (2). Remove the three bolts that hold the master cylinder and rotochamber to the frame, and remove it. The weight of the master cylinder and rotochamber is 34 kg (75 lb.). The following steps are for installation of the brake master cylinder and rotochamber.7. Put master cylinder and rotochamber (2) in position on the frame, and install the three bolts that hold it. Air line (3) is from the brake relay valve. Oil line (4) is from the top of the brake oil makeup tank. Oil line (5) is from the bottom of the brake oil makeup tank. Oil line (6) is from the slack adjuster.8. Connect oil lines (4), (5) and (6) and air line (3) to the master cylinder and rotochamber.9. Put plate (1) in position, and install the bolts that hold it in place.10. Fill the brake oil makeup tank with oil to the correct level. See the Maintenance Guide.11. Bleed the air from the brake system. See Testing And Adjusting for the correct procedure to bleed the brake system.
