A 194-3536 T40 Torx Socket 1 Start By:
Remove the engine oil pan. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Oil Pan - Remove".
Remove the flywheel housing. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Flywheel Housing - Remove and Install".
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Support isolating frame (3). Use Tooling (A) to remove torx screw (2) and torx screw (4).
Remove isolating frame (3) from the cylinder block.
Remove gasket (1). Installation Procedure

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Ensure that the isolating frame and the gasket surfaces of the cylinder block are clean and free from damage.

Install Tooling (B) to Positions (X) in the cylinder block.

Tooling (B) is not shown for clarity.
Apply a bead of Tooling (C) to Positions (Y).

Position a new gasket (1) onto isolating frame (3).
Align isolating frame (3) with Tooling (B). Install the isolating frame to the cylinder block.
Use Tooling (A) to install torx screws (2) and torx screws (4). Tighten torx screws (2) and torx screws (4) to a torque of 22 N m (16 lb ft). End By:
Install the engine oil pan. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Oil Pan - Remove".
Install the flywheel housing. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Flywheel Housing - Remove and Install".
