The new seal will increase the sealing capabilities, withstand higher temperatures, and can resist greater loading forces. This makes the seal more reliable and helps maintain joint integrity.Adaptable To: A new 153-1810 Integral Seal is replacing the former 7N-4927 Housing Cover Gasket in all G3500 Gas Engines. The new seal, composed of a steel spacer with an integral rubber O-ring, compares to the former gasket, composed of a cork rubber composite.
