Install the new thrust plate with the four new screws (6). The surface with the radius must point inward, toward the motor. Install the screws with 185-3996 Thread Lock Compound and tighten the screws to a torque of 35 N m (26 lb ft).

Use an M8 plug tap to remove residual thread lock from the tapped holes in the carrier.
Install the carrier on the sun gear.

Remove three new bearings (1) from the repair kit and install the bearings on the carrier. Handle the bearings with care. The needle rollers can easily detach from the races.

Identify the sides of the three planetary gears that have the small spigot.

Install the three planetary gears and install the sun gear. The spigot must point outward, away from the motor.

Check in order to ensure that none of the needle rollers from the bearings have detached during assembly.

Identify the side of the new thrust plate (3) that has the chamfered corner on the outside diameter. When you install the thrust plate, the surface with the chamfered corner must face inward toward the motor.

Install the thrust plate with the three new screws (6) from the repair kit. Install the screws with 185-3996 Thread Lock Compound and tighten the screws to a torque of 35 N m (26 lb ft).

Thoroughly clean all of the old sealant from the final drive cover.

Apply an even ring of 1U-8846 Gasket Sealant to the final drive cover. Apply the sealant on the inside of the screw holes.

Install the final drive cover with the twelve new bolts from the repair kit. Tighten the bolts evenly to a torque of 13 3 N m (9.6 2.2 lb ft).

Check the condition of the seal on the final drive drain plug. Ensure that the drain hole is clean and free from burrs. then install the drain plug. Tighten the plug to a torque of 50 N m (37 lb ft).
Fill the final drive with new oil. The oil capacity of the final drive is approximately 1.3 L (1.4 qt).

Check the condition of the seal on the final drive filler plug. Ensure that the filler hole is clean and free from burrs. Then install the filler plug. Tighten the plug to a torque of 50 N m (37 lb ft).
Move the machine backward and move the machine forward. then check that the oil level is correct. Stop the machine with the final drive drain plug at the lowest point. Lower the blade, and rest the work tool on the ground. Stop the engine. Check the oil level by removing the filler plug. The oil should be at the level of the filler plug. Add oil if oil is required.
Clean the outside of the final drive.
Repeat the procedure for the other final drive.
