To make a smooth transition from the cut grade back to the original grade:1. If the optional cross slope sensor is being used, slowly crank the front elevation sensor down as the machine travels forward. If the cross slope sensor is not being used, slowly crank both the front and right rear elevation sensors down as the machine travels forward.2. As soon as the cutter is no longer in contact with the slab, move the front and right rear elevation automatic mode selectors to "Off".3. Use the elevation controls to manually raise the mainframe.4. Move the engine throttle to low idle.5. Move the cutter control to "Off".
